Do you know that feeling when you apply for a visa to go abroad but your request is declined, “you are declined”? You cannot stay in the country any longer just because you feel bad, even physically. 

I left my country almost two years ago but feeling of not being accepted is still there. This project is a way of reflecting on emigrant’s experience, war, my body reaction. 

Photos were taken in Slovenia, where I was a volunteer for nine months, in Turkey, where my family lives partly, in Saint-Petersburg, the city I love and left.
